Chantal Britt is a communications specialist with more than 15 years of experience in science and financial journalism at Bloomberg News and Swissinfo.ch, and over 10 years of experience in science communication and communications consulting for companies and NPOs in the fields of health, medicine and research. Her employers have included organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, NPOs such as the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK), the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and the international ECCMID congress with 15,000 participants, as well as the Swiss 3R Competence Centre and the Swiss Centre for Applied Human Toxicology.
Since 2020, Chantal Britt has been involved in patient and public involvement and engagement. From 2022, she has been employed as a research assistant at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and Arts at the Institute for Collaborative Healthcare and Leadership, focusing on participation and chronic diseases.
Chantal Britt holds a Master's degree from the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Geneva, a CAS in Public Affairs and Lobbying, and is an EUPATI Fellow, i.e. she is a trained patient expert. She is the co-founder and president of patient organisation Long Covid Switzerland.
